About the Owner: My name is Travis Torres. I own and operate Texas Land and Terrain and I'm a resident of Longview, Texas. My wife and two children are what inspire me to achieve, succeed, and provide. I am a drilling fluids engineer by trade, but I have been around equipment, trees, demolition, and smaller scale construction my entire life. I grew up in south east Texas on an 80 acre plot of family land. My father taught me that a man is what he does, and a man that is willing to do the work will succeed in life. My father is a combat veteran and successful business owner and entrepreneur who has served his community for 30+ years. I am a highly motivated individual with an example to set for my two children. My wife and I also own 7 rental units inside Longview's City Limits. My hobbies include weight lifting, offroad powersports, hotrods, elk hunting and fishing.

Demo and Cleanup + Tree Removal
Texas Land and Terrain removed 72 feet of 6' privacy fence. We stripped up 10 yards of gravel and converted it into a walkway through the trees. We added 36 yards of Top Soil for sodding and de-stumped and de-rooted all the areas that will be walked. Lastly, we constructed 120' of 8' tall privacy fence. This fence was constructed using #2 Pressure Treated Pine posts and 1"x6"x10' creosote planks. The planks were installed Shadow Box style, which strengthens and beautifies both sides of the fence. This also allows wind to pass through the fence and adds an artistic flair that stands out. What also stands out is the perfectly horizontal construction. This was designed to match the horizontal scenery of the lake. The fence is 8'6" on the sides and 7'8" in the middle. The posts are set 36" deep to stand up to those gusts of wind that blow across the lake.
